GRAND VALLEY IMAGE BATTLE – 2009

The Maitland Valley Camera Club is pleased to be holding the
Grand Valley Image Battle for 2009 on Sunday, November 15, 2009,
from 2:00 p.m. sharp until 5:00 p.m. or until completion.
The Images Presentation will be held at The Grey Central Public School
at the following address;
84925 Ethel Line, Ethel, Ontario. (see attached maps for directions from your area)
If there are any problems finding the school the day of the event, please contact
Dennis Schul 519-357-7253.

Looking forward to seeing as many HGCC members out as possible to support this great, inter-club competition event.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:
Each club will submit a total of 20 images, comprised of prints, slides or digital files.

November 16 2009: Julie Waterhouse

Julie Waterhouse is an acclaimed photographer from Toronto who specializes in digital macro photography. Julie has had several exhibitions of her work in the GTA and just recently won the Visitor's Choice Award for her black-and-white exhibition at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado. A selection of Julie's images are available for commercial use via the Alamy stock agency.

Join us on November 16 as Julie shows us her work and describes some of the techniques she uses to capture some of her visually stunning images.
