Please join us Jan. 18, when HGCC welcomes Dr. Brady Johnson. The founder and Education Director of KW Telescope (www.kwtelescope.com), Dr. Brady Johnson, served 6 years on the executive council of the KW Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (www.kw.rasc.ca) including three years as Vice President, two years as President, and one as Past President. Brady has given many talks at club meetings, and is a regular contributor to the club's professional newsletter. He also gives talks to schools, businesses and astronomy clubs in and around southwestern Ontario, as well as at major star parties including Canada's largest annual star party, Starfest. Brady will be sharing his images and techniques for capturing astronomical subjects. Start: 19:30

Show off your creativity in the Jack Battler competition. We have seen many great creative images from guest speakers this year to help the creative spirit. The idea behind the competition is to have members submit creative, rather than documentary, images. Subject matter, and type of media used, is open.
