I've updated the descriptions of the forthcoming Button Factory exhibitions on the website.

Mitzi Schneibel of WCAC will be at the Button Factory this Monday night to assist us in organizing and hanging the artwork. Mitzi will be creating the labels to go with each print, so for input she'll need each photographer to fill out a form that describes each piece (photographer, title, media (gelatin silver, inkjet, etc), and price (or NFS- not for sale)) along with its position on the wall (1,2,3...). Wall positions along with photographer/title will be placed on the walls with Post-it notes so that Mitzi can ensure later in the week that the labelling is correct.

The following people have indicated to me in writing (over the summer months) that they will be exhibiting work at the show:

though I fully expect others to "drop in" on Monday night. There should be enough wall space for 40-50 prints, so I expect to be able to accomodate any additional participants. If you're going to be exhibiting, remember to bring along your chequebook for your 2007-8 HGCC membership.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday. The Button Factory is providing punch and munchies, but is encouraging us to provide additional "pot-luck" hors d'oeuvres and I would ask those that will be attending on Friday to bring something in. The Opening will be from 6-8 pm.

Finally, I hope to be there Monday night around 6:45 to help get set up, but I can't stay for the evening as it's my wedding anniversary. Hope to see you there.
