With the early spring, the woodland spring flowers are all blooming ahead of schedule. Trilliums are blooming now, and some plants are already past their prime.

Our Hepatica Cup outing is now moved up to Saturday, May 1, 2010.

We will meet at the picnic area next to the parking lot. Mosquitoes are out too - so I suggest bug spray.

This is the first year we have changed from shooting Hepatica as the subject, to Trillium.

General Rules: In the fall of 2010, you will be able to submit up to two Trillium images taken during the spring of 2010 to compete for the Hepatica Cup. You are not restricted to a "Nature" shot - recording of flower in its habitat, you can also take interpretive, and creative images.
