Are you interested in being an 'official volunteer photographer' for Doors Open Waterloo Region 2010?

What is involved?

We would send you a list of the 2010 Doors Open sites well in advance of our September 18 event, so that you could scope out any sites you would like to photograph. Ideally, we'd have a number of photographers, covering a good selection of the sites (for example, one photographer could photograph the Kitchener sites, another one could photograph the Waterloo sites, etc.).

You could pick which sites you would like to 'cover', and let us know.

Especially appreciated are photos of visitors enjoying Doors Open sites!

Following the event, you would submit some of your photos to the Region of Waterloo (you could submit the same photos to a photo contest, such as the Doors Open Ontario, KPL, the Record's photo contests, for example), for us to use on the Doors Open Waterloo Region site. You would retain copyright of the photos - we would post a 'photo courtesy of ______' tag on all of your photos. We would love to forward your photos to the Ontario Heritage Trust, to be used in their province-wide publication (distributed in the Globe & Mail in February each year), but, again, they would be submitted to the OHT with your name attached.
