Photodo.com is a website dedicated to independent testing of camera lenses by virtually all of the major lens manufacturers: Tamron, Sigma, Canon, Nikon, Zeiss, etc. On the Photodo.com site you can get ratings for the sharpness, contrast, distortion, and colour aberration of almost any lens. You can also register on the Photodo.com website, and contribute to their user forums, or add your own personal experiences to the rating/assessment of a particular lens.
